Engine crank seals take a beating from shaft runout, elevated crankcase heat, and constant high surface speeds. Engineered for dry air-to-oil interfaces, this seal features a primary hydrodynamic sealing lip that wipes lube back into the sump, backed by an outer dust lip that blocks road grit and wash water from chewing up the seal surface.
