Sand and blasted rock quickly wash out the weld joints and top bevel around bucket adapters. Bolting these hardened DH-2 steel plates across the center base edge covers exposed base metal between teeth. They work alongside bolt-on half arrows, taking the heavy abrasive sliding contact so your main lip plate does not thin out. Swap them out using standard longer segment hardware when replacing teeth or segments.
