RIM
The RIM 3092 2098 23 is the critical component that secures the tire to the hub on your heavy drilling rig. It absorbs ground forces and ensures stable machine movement. Replacing it promptly prevents vibrations and uneven tire wear, keeping your rig operational and safe.

Full Technical Description
RIM 3092 2098 23 is basically the backbone holding the tire to the hub on those bigger mobile rigs. It’s what takes all the ground forces – the constant pounding from rocks, the twists from uneven terrain, and the sheer weight of the machine – and transfers them directly into the axle. It's got to be built tough, obviously, because it’s constantly getting hammered in some pretty rough environments. A solid rim means your tire stays put and the load gets distributed right.
When one of these starts to go, you’ll usually notice it first as an odd vibration through the chassis, especially when you’re moving. Keep an eye out for uneven tire wear, too; sometimes a bent or cracked rim will cause the tire to run out of true, wearing one side faster. You might also spot hairline cracks forming around the bolt holes or where the bead seats if you’re doing a thorough walk-around inspection. A persistent slow leak that keeps coming back after patching can also be a sign the rim itself is compromised, not just the tire.
When it’s time to swap one out, the main thing is to make sure you clean up the hub’s mating surface properly before putting the new rim on. Any rust scale or crud can prevent it from seating flush, and that’s just asking for trouble down the road, like loosening lug nuts or even stud failure. And for crying out loud, use a torque wrench on those lug nuts; don't just hammer them on with an impact gun and call it good. Even torque is absolutely key for keeping everything tight and running true.
