There's a lot of stored energy in these things, even when the pump's off. And when you're putting the new one in, double-check the pre-charge pressure with a proper nitrogen gauge; that's the one thing folks often rush or get wrong. Getting that pre-charge right is critical for how the system behaves and how long the new vessel lasts.
