Think of it as the critical link between the axle and the tire, transferring all that torque from the drivetrain to the ground. Without a good hub, nothing’s moving, or at least not safely.

When these hubs start to go, you’ll usually notice it first as a distinct growling or rumbling noise, especially when the rig is moving. Sometimes you might even feel a vibration through the chassis. If it gets bad enough, the wheel can start to wobble, and you’ll see uneven tire wear.
