SPECIAL TOOLS KIT

551 786 90 SPECIAL TOOLS KIT is the specific piece of kit you reach for when you're wrestling with those main piston seals or maybe a tricky accumulator diaphragm in a rock drill. It’s not just a fancy wrench; it’s shaped just right to get into those tight spots, allowing you to seat or extract components without gouging the bore or tearing up a brand-new seal. Trying to do this job with a hammer and chisel, or some makeshift pry bar, usually ends up costing more in damaged parts than the tool itself.

Now, if this SPECIAL TOOLS KIT gets damaged – maybe it’s bent, or the specific seating surface is worn down – or worse, if you try to shortcut the job and use a generic pry bar or a screwdriver instead, you’re almost guaranteed to run into issues. You’ll often end up with a new seal that’s already compromised, a scratched cylinder bore, or a component that just won't seat properly. The immediate symptom you’ll notice on the rig later is usually a premature leak, maybe some oil seeping out around a piston rod, or if it's an accumulator component, you might get inconsistent impact or pressure fluctuations because it wasn't installed correctly in the first place. It’s a classic case of saving five minutes and costing five hours down the road.

Look, this isn't a part that goes into the machine, it's what helps you fix it. So, treat it right. After each use, give it a quick wipe down and make sure it’s not bent or dinged up, especially on the critical contact surfaces. Store it somewhere safe, not rattling around in the bottom of a toolbox. The biggest thing people forget is to actually *inspect* the tool itself for wear or damage before they start a critical installation. A small burr on your SPECIAL TOOLS KIT can ruin a brand-new seal, and then you’re just doing the job twice.
