It’s not about moving huge volumes of oil, but rather making sure the right signal gets through at the right time to trigger something important.

When this VALVE, SHUTTLE starts acting up, you'll usually notice some inconsistent behavior in whatever system it's feeding. Maybe a function that should engage quickly feels sluggish, or you get a slight drift in a hydraulic cylinder that relies on a holding pressure.
