Its primary job is to maintain the precise positioning of the motor output shaft and the rotation unit's input shaft, which is essential for smooth power transmission.
A crack or deformation in the housing can lead to serious internal damage. If the housing fails, contaminants like water and grit can enter and quickly wear out the coupling splines and shaft bearings.
