This thing just keeps the air or fluid moving where it needs to go, plain and simple, preventing leaks and keeping the system sealed up tight under tough operating conditions.

When this hose starts to go, you might not always see a catastrophic burst right away. Often, you’ll notice a slow coolant leak if it’s in the cooling system, or if it’s on the air side, you might hear a subtle hiss or even a whistling sound under load, especially when the turbo spools up. That’s usually your first clue that you’re losing boost pressure, which translates directly to a noticeable drop in power and slower penetration rates.
