If it’s supporting something like a hydraulic pump, you might even start seeing premature hose failures or fitting leaks because the pump isn't holding its position anymore, putting extra strain on those connections. Sometimes, if it's really bad, you'll see visible movement of the component it's supposed to be holding steady.

Replacing this plate isn't usually a complicated job, but don't just swap it out and forget it.
