886 236 09 TRIPLE PUMP is the workhorse for a good chunk of your rig's hydraulic muscle. You've got three separate sections in there, each pushing oil for different critical functions. One might be dedicated to your feed cylinder, another for rotation, and often the third kicks in for things like your rod handler or even the dust collector fan motor. It’s what makes those big movements happen, plain and simple.

When one of these starts to get tired, you'll definitely feel it in the controls. Usually what happens is one or more of your main functions will get sluggish – maybe the feed cylinder just doesn't have the grunt it used to, or your rotation motor feels weak, especially when you're really leaning on it. You might also start hearing a distinct, high-pitched whine from the pump area, particularly when you're trying to push some serious oil. That's often the internal components wearing down, letting oil bypass and creating that noise and heat.

Look, when you're swapping one of these out, don't just bolt on the new one and call it a day. Always, and I mean always, check your suction line and filter. A restricted suction line is a pump killer, plain and simple, and it's often overlooked. Make sure the hydraulic tank is clean too. You're putting a fresh pump into a system, so give it the best chance to live a long life by ensuring clean oil and unrestricted flow to it.
