REPAIR KIT
BG 008 220 11A REPAIR KIT is your go-to for fixing hydraulic leaks and restoring system performance on your rig. This kit includes all the necessary seals and O-rings to get a worn-out cylinder or valve back to holding pressure and operating smoothly, preventing costly downtime from fluid bypass.

Full Technical Description
BG 008 220 11A REPAIR KIT is what you grab when you're dealing with a leaky hydraulic cylinder, or maybe a control valve that's just not holding pressure like it should. Basically, it's a collection of all the little bits – the O-rings, the rod seals, the piston seals, wipers, maybe even some backup rings – that keep the oil where it needs to be. Without these, you've got internal bypass, external leaks, and generally just a mess. It's about maintaining that hydraulic integrity, making sure the fluid pressure translates directly into mechanical force, whether it's extending a feed cylinder or clamping something down.
When these seals start to go, you’ll notice it pretty quick. For a cylinder, you might see the rod start to drift, or the whole assembly just feels sluggish and weak. You push a lever, and it takes a second too long to respond, or it can't hold its position under load. Sometimes, if it's an internal seal, you won't even see a leak, but the pressure gauge will fluctuate more than it should, or you'll hear the pump working harder than usual for no good reason. And of course, the obvious one: oil puddles. If it's a valve kit, you might get inconsistent flow, or a function that just won't engage properly, like a boom not lifting smoothly or a drill feed that's jerky.
Swapping out a REPAIR KIT like this isn't usually a huge job, but it's one where attention to detail really pays off. Always make sure you clean the bore and rod thoroughly before installing new seals; any little bit of grit or old crud will just tear up the fresh ones. And don't forget to use the right assembly lube – a lot of guys just slap them in dry, but a bit of clean hydraulic oil or proper grease makes a world of difference for initial startup and seal life. Also, double-check the orientation of those lip seals; it's easy to get them backwards, and then you're just doing the job twice.
