MUD SCHUTZ BAUGRUPPE

551 740 39 MUD SCHUTZ BAUGRUPPE is the core moving part inside a hydraulic cylinder, whether it's for your feed, boom, or even a leveling jack. It’s essentially the muscle, pushing or pulling whatever heavy component it's attached to. When hydraulic pressure acts on the piston, which is fixed to this rod, that force gets converted directly into linear motion. This is how your rig's functions actually happen – extending, retracting, lifting, you name it. It’s all about getting that fluid power to do some real work.

When this MUD SCHUTZ BAUGRUPPE starts showing its age, you'll usually notice a few things going sideways. One common sign is a general sluggishness or a lack of holding power in the cylinder it's in. Say it's a feed cylinder; you might find your drill head drifting down a bit when you're not actively feeding, or it just doesn't feel as strong. Another dead giveaway is if you hear a constant internal bypass noise – a kind of soft gurgling or hiss – from the cylinder itself. That's usually the piston seals on the rod letting fluid slip past, meaning you're losing pressure and power internally.
